Why Should I Attend?

By attending the Job Fair, you will have the opportunity to network with 260+ employers who are interested in starting and maintaining employment relationships with Minnesota graduates! Many of the employers who will be present at the event will be actively recruiting for jobs and internships. Other employers may anticipate hiring in the next six months. No matter what the organizations' objectives may be, as an attendee, you can take advantage of speaking with recruiters from a variety of different industries to learn how your career goals may fit with their hiring needs. Contact your university Career Services office if you have further questions related to this Fair or your job search.

How Do I Register, and What is the Cost?

Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors enrolled at one of the participating seventeen Minnesota Private Colleges are eligible to attend. You may create an account here on our website to post your resume by clicking here, but you must register for the job fair with your Career Services Departments. Only pre-registered candidates will be admitted to the job fair.

Should I Post My Resume Online?

A unique feature of the Minnesota Private Colleges’ Job & Internship Fair is the option to pre-schedule interviews at the fair. Candidates are encouraged to post their resumes online for employers to review and to also email directly to employers to request pre-scheduled interviews at the fair. Employers are encouraged to contact candidates directly to pre-schedule interviews. This means candidates can walk into the fair with interviews already scheduled! What is the Schedule for the Job Fair?

Thursday, February 25, 2021

8:30 a.m.
- Doors open to registered students with disabilities.
9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Doors open to all registered students. Open session for all registered undergraduate students. Students visit with employers in exhibit booth area for either full-time employment or internships.
- Employers have the opportunity to identify candidates to interview. If employers have reserved a private interview space, they can interview students until 6 p.m. Interviews may also occur at the employer's exhibit booths until 2 p.m.
- It is the employer's responsibility to contact students directly to inform them of their interview time and location. For scheduling purposes, employers are asked to schedule 30-minute interviews on the half hour.
2:00 p.m.
- Open session ends and job fair exhibit area closes. Interviews that employers have scheduled with students after 2 p.m. will take place in the interviewing area. The job fair exhibit area is closed at this time.
5:30 p.m.
- Last interviews begin.
6:00 p.m.
- Interviews end and job fair ends.

What Is The Parking Situation?

To park, please note the various parking lots indicated on the interactive map. Most of the ramps in the area are connected to the Convention Center through the skyway system. Allow a little extra time due to increased security by the Minneapolis Convention Center. The cost to park per day in the ramps will be approximately $10.
